The Logistics IT Technical Lead is responsible for driving the integration, planning, and execution of complex technical programs while ensuring alignment with mission objectives and delivery timelines. The position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, program management capabilities, and strategic oversight to manage multi-stakeholder environments. It involves coordinating system integration efforts, optimizing logistics IT processes, and ensuring high-quality program performance across all phases of delivery. - Lead the planning and execution of logistics IT programs, ensuring alignment with organizational and government objectives.
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, roadmaps, and delivery plans across multiple stakeholders and systems.
- Apply systems engineering principles to manage technical integration, performance requirements, and program scope.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks through structured risk management frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process quality.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, briefings, and presentations for senior government and industry leadership.
- Provide logistics IT subject matter expertise to support decision-making and program execution.
- Manage competing priorities and ensure timely delivery of high-impact, mission-critical initiatives.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience supporting defense or government programs.
- 5+ years of experience in program management or technical leadership roles.
- Strong background in systems engineering, logistics IT, and large-scale program integration.
- Proven experience in risk management, scheduling, and lifecycle program execution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cost analysis, budgeting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with experience guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
- Experience with defense acquisition processes and Navy programs is highly desirable.
- Competitive annual salary range: $149,000 – $248,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
