About the role

Parkline Motors is seeking an experienced Detail Manager to lead our automotive detailing department. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, and ensuring every vehicle meets dealership presentation standards before being photographed, advertised, or placed on the sales lot. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain both speed and quality in a high-volume dealership environment.

What you'll do

• Manage and schedule detailing staff to meet daily production goals
• Inspect completed vehicles to ensure dealership quality standards are met
• Maintain inventory of detailing supplies and coordinate reordering as needed
• Ensure timely vehicle turnaround to support sales and inventory flow
• Train and coach team members on proper detailing processes and expectations
• Monitor team performance and maintain accountability for quality and productivity
• Keep the detailing department organized, efficient, and operating smoothly
• Coordinate with sales and management to prioritize vehicle readiness

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive detailing experience required
• Previous leadership or management experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• Schedule may include weekdays and Saturdays based on dealership needs
• On-site role at Parkline Motors
• Work is performed in a dealership lot and shop environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and varying weather conditions

Compensation

$20.00 per hour
Opportunity for performance-based bonuses
