Position Summary
Blue Frontier is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead the execution of commercial HVAC installations from contract turnover through commissioning and project close-out. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with Blue Frontier's factory standards and constantly exceeding customer expectations.
The HVAC Project Manager works cross-functionally with engineering (internal and external), installing contractors, field service, and customer stakeholders to ensure installation quality, proper system integration, and a seamless transition into ongoing service operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project execution from turnover to commissioning and close-out
• Coordinate with installing contractors, subcontractors, engineering, and field service teams
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Conduct site visits to ensure installation quality, safety, and compliance
• Oversee system startup and commissioning activities in coordination with the Field Services team
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation prior to turnover to service
• Maintain accurate reporting in Salesforce and project management platforms (ClickUp preferred)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution
• Identify and proactively mitigate project risks
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC project management experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical systems, controls, and commissioning
• PMP certification preferred
• BSME (Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering) preferred
• Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools
• Salesforce experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• Ability to travel within assigned region
