This role sits at the core of a modern, enterprise IT environment where reliability, security, and automation are essential to enabling a fast-moving, technology-driven organization. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing critical infrastructure systems that support business operations at scale. Acting as both an engineer and problem solver, you will drive improvements across networking, identity, and enterprise applications while ensuring seamless and secure system performance. The position blends hands-on technical execution with cross-functional collaboration, requiring strong engagement with stakeholders across IT, security, and business teams. You will also play a key role in automating processes, reducing operational overhead, and improving system resilience. This is a high-impact engineering role in a remote-first environment focused on building scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise systems.
- Drive execution of enterprise IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget alignment, and proactive risk management across initiatives.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise networking and VPN infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.
- Design and implement automation solutions to replace manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute advanced technical expertise to enterprise-wide initiatives, solving complex infrastructure and systems challenges.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure enterprise applications meet security standards and compliance requirements.
- Develop, document, and maintain IT processes, workflows, and operational standards to support scalable system operations.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuity and responsiveness of critical systems.
- 6–8 years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, or related enterprise environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong experience with networking, VPNs, identity, access, and authentication management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise systems such as SSO, SAML, OIDC, and MDM platforms.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and managing IT systems, policies, and procedures.
- Strong scripting or automation skills, with exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code or similar frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and design scalable, secure solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bonus: proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Ruby, or TypeScript.
- Competitive salary range: $165,000 – $195,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
