Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Sanford, FL

Position Summary:

SunVena is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our Sanford location operations. This position will report to our Director of Warehouse. Your mission is simple: ensure our Solar, HVAC, and Plumbing crews are loaded accurately and dispatched efficiently. This is a "boots-on-the-ground" leadership role focused on inventory precision, organization, and supporting our field technicians. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under pressure, strict deadlines, and creating/maintaining vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving, binning, and cycle-counting of all Solar and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components.
• Maintain strong Account Management practices.
• Ensure all equipment and materials for the next day’s installs are pulled, staged, and verified for accuracy the evening before.
• Complete data entry and administrative tasks as required.
• Supervise a team of 4-6 people; lead and train warehouse associates to maintain a high standard of organization and speed.
• Accurately prepare documents for the installation crew.
• Occasionally transport materials and equipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; manage tool tracking and equipment check-outs- following compliance and safety requirements as mandated by OSHA.
• Implement strict check-in/check-out procedures to eliminate "lost" parts and reduce waste.
• Ensure all forklift operations and material handling meet OSHA standards.
• Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, specifically handling Electrical, Solar, HVAC, Plumbing, or similar.
• Ability to set and keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy.
• Outstanding organizational and project management skills with experience at managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Must be self-motivated and able to function independently, driven towards superior effort and performance along with the desire to work in a very dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including written and verbal communication, especially in developing positions and presenting to management.
• Must possess valid Driver’s License, and meet requirements of company insurance carrier

Preferred skills:

• Experience with systems implementations. NetSuite/Oracle experience is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience in a construction environment and general knowledge of daily warehouse operations
• Strong project-management skills.
• Expert forklift operator; SunVena Solar is willing to assist with certification if necessary
• Effective coordination and communication with Warehouse, Operations, and Install staff
