Job Summary:

The Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist supports the extraction, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate insights that assist in business decision-making. This role involves contributing to the development of BI solutions, maintaining data accuracy, and providing analytical support to stakeholders.
The Junior BI Specialist works under the guidance of senior team members to build foundational expertise in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools, while supporting data-driven initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Assist in analyzing data from various sources to identify trends and support business insights.
• BI Solution Development: Support the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including reports and dashboards.
• Data Modeling and Mining: Apply basic data modeling techniques and assist in data exploration and analysis tasks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare reports and visualizations, and assist in presenting findings to team members and stakeholders.
• Project Support: Contribute to BI projects by completing assigned tasks within defined timelines.
• Performance Monitoring: Support the tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in preparing periodic reports.
• Data Governance: Help ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Continuous Learning: Actively develop skills in BI tools, data analysis techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field (internships or academic projects are acceptable).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with at least one BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Basic understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Python or another programming language is an advantage.
• Good communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and structured way.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in the BI field.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
