In this role, you will contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of a large-scale healthcare data platform that powers critical analytics and decision-making solutions. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, ensuring smooth delivery and stable operation of cloud-based products in complex, high-availability environments. The position involves close collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, security, and application teams to build resilient systems and improve operational efficiency. You will play a key role in defining monitoring strategies, automating recovery processes, and strengthening production stability. This is a highly technical and impact-driven role where you will help improve healthcare outcomes by ensuring data platforms remain reliable, secure, and performant. - Take ownership of product reliability, availability, and operational performance within a cloud-based healthcare data environment.
- Collaborate with engineering, SecOps, AppOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and system stability.
- Analyze production issues, errors, and exceptions, and establish feedback loops to prevent recurrence through automation and process improvements.
- Design and implement automated healing, recovery, and remediation strategies in collaboration with development teams.
- Define, track, and analyze key operational and performance metrics to assess system health across development, testing, and production environments.
- Drive adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and Agile principles across teams and processes.
- Contribute to design and build standards, including coding guidelines, quality gates, and security frameworks.
- Develop monitoring frameworks, automation runbooks, and dashboards to support operational excellence.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents and automate incident resolution where possible.
- Ensure holistic understanding of system architecture while being able to troubleshoot complex production issues under pressure.
- 5+ years of experience working with DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud-based platforms.
- Strong experience in Azure cloud environments or similar large-scale cloud infrastructure.
- 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux systems and tools such as GIT and Jenkins.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, NodeJS, Groovy, or Ansible.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and production support operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to define and enforce engineering best practices, security standards, and quality frameworks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
