About This Position

FamilyCare is looking for 2 Full-time Radiology Technologist to work at our Winfield Convenient Care Site

Schedule will be as follows:

Week 1

Monday and Tuesday 9am-9pm

Wednesday and Thursday off

Friday and Saturday 9am-9pm

Sunday 11-6pm

Week 2

Monday and Tuesday off

Wednesday and Thursday 9am to 9pm

Friday/Saturday/Sunday off

Physical Requirements:

This employee must be able to assist patients onto the tabletop and into positioning per ordered X-rays. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Qualifications:

National Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and Licensed by the State.

Basic Function:

Produce all Radiological images and oversee the digital transfer to specified Radiologist for interpretation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Meet and greet patients and explain the Radiologic
  2. Ability to position each patient per ordered exam
  3. Knowledge of when to use protective devices such as lead aprons and shields to meet Radiation Safety Standard
  4. Competency to set the x-ray tube to the proper distance and angle for the examination being performed
  5. Produce the best diagnostic images that are reproducible using the computer program for the department
  6. Generate findings report for interpretation
  7. Oversee and manage the transfer and archiving of digital images/reports
  8. Maintain all patient records according to HIPPA standards
  9. Wear monitoring dosimeter at all times while performing Radiologic Exams
  10. Check and Maintain equipment within Radiology
  11. Must have the aptitude to set controls using ALARA
