Job Description :

Email Security Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Hands-on key contributor with our Advanced Email Security Tool, from architecture, efficiency improvements to day-to-day support.

• Maintain reporting metrics to communicate the efficacy of the Email Security program

• Use our SIEM and other tools to identify issues and research detailed log data

• Use internal automation tools to create automation for efficiency in various areas of delivery or support

• Assist in building delivery documentation. Including (but not limited to): user documentation, process flows, internal communications & executive summary reports

• Work across multiple concurrent projects, responsible for deploying new functionality, maintain operational effectiveness, handle escalations

• Rotate On-call schedule

• Work with peer teams and Business Units for testing, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support

• Assist where needed on additional cyber security programs with adjacent teams

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with enterprise level email security tools, and the wider Email Security space. A broad range of expertise is of interest. This role is looking for practical experience (hands-on) in these essential areas:

• 4+ years of information technology experience, with 2+ years focus on Advanced Email Security

• Experience with Email Authentication Compliance (DKIM, DMARC)

• 1+ year Experience with user facing and developer ticketing tools

• Public, private and/or hybrid cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Knowledge of Cloud email administration (Gmail, O365)

• Proven track record of working within constraints (standards and procedures); Ability to coordinate and collaborate with colleagues, partners, end users

• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytic skills

• Ability to translate requirements into a working solution

• Excellent English verbal and written skills

• Detail oriented, but cognizant of big picture perspective

• Desire to constantly learn new things

• Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines mixed with unforeseen issues

• BA/BS degree in Technology, Computer Science/Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field or equivalent experience

• Available to train during evening India hours, with flexibility to move into daytime hours.

• Work in person in Bangalore 3+ days per week.
