This senior-level role is essential for leading federal government relations across all US subsidiaries, influencing critical policies around manufacturing, trade, and electronic materials. The selected candidate will utilize their extensive lobbying experience to navigate complex policy landscapes, engage with key stakeholders, and shape legislative decisions. This position operates remotely while collaborating across various business units, making strategic advocacy efforts from anywhere. Our partner seeks individuals located in the DC area to facilitate stakeholder engagement.Accountabilities
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive federal lobbying and advocacy strategies aligned with the company's business priorities.
  • Represent the company's interests before the Executive Branch, Congress, federal agencies, and trade associations.
  • Manage initiatives on critical issues including manufacturing policy, trade regulations, and electronic materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple subsidiaries to ensure alignment on policy positions.
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, recommending strategic responses.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with lawmakers, federal officials, and industry groups to enhance influence.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and maintain high discretion in all activities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in federal government affairs, ideally focused on manufacturing, healthcare, and trade issues.
  • Proven success in lobbying Congressional members and Executive Branch officials.
  • Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory environments with a history of effective lobbying.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding judgment, integrity, and ability to operate with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
