In this role, you will have a significant impact on shaping the security landscape within a fast-paced fintech environment. You will lead the security strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while overseeing a robust security posture. Your expertise will be pivotal in safeguarding digital assets and enhancing the organization's trustworthiness. This position calls for a visionary leader who can effectively manage security risks and optimize incident responses in a complex and evolving industry.Accountabilities
  • Own the security strategy, roadmap, and organizational security posture
  • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory authorities on security matters
  • Lead compliance programs, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to regulations
  • Present risk assessments, audit reports, and compliance status to the board
  • Define and enforce organization-wide security policies and procedures
  • Lead incident response coordination with legal, law enforcement, and regulators
  • Oversee security architecture for cryptocurrency custody systems and platforms
  • Manage third-party risk assessment for critical vendors and blockchain providers
  • Own the security budget, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations
  • Develop security awareness training programs and collaborate with engineering teams
Requirements
  • 5+ years in information security with at least 2 years as CISO or Head of Security
  • Proven experience in regulated financial services, particularly in fintech
  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (FINMA, AMF, DORA, MiCA, GDPR)
  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency security and custody models
  • Expertise in crisis management and incident response leadership
  • Technical background to challenge engineering decisions and review security architecture
  • Attention to detail for reviewing configurations and compliance documents
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to executive levels
  • Fluent English required; French is highly desirable
  • Masters degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
