This role is essential in overseeing the sourcing and procurement of technology-related goods and services. You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for various IT categories including software, hardware, and services. Your contributions will drive cost optimization and align procurement activities with business objectives, ensuring effective vendor performance and risk management in a collaborative work environment.Accountabilities
  • Develop and manage category strategies and sourcing plans for technology and IT contracts.
  • Lead RFx processes, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations for IT spend.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and Legal teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Assist in consolidating suppliers to unify IT solutions and streamline vendor management.
  • Conduct spend and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key technology suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze market trends to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Support contract lifecycle management including renewals and license optimization.
  • Maintain procurement records and contract documentation for audit purposes.
  • Track key procurement metrics such as savings and supplier performance.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management focused on IT categories.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing contracts for technology vendors.
  • Working knowledge of IT concepts such as cloud infrastructure and software licensing.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience in sourcing strategies and RFx processes in a mid-to-large organization.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Workday experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and decision-making.
