Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and resident-focused full-time Service Coordinator to join our team at a LIHTC affordable housing community. This role serves as a vital link between residents and community-based services, helping individuals and families maintain housing stability, improve quality of life, and access supportive resources.
The Service Coordinator does not provide direct case management, but instead facilitates connections, education, advocacy, and community partnerships in compliance with LIHTC program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Support & Engagement
- Serve as a resource for residents by identifying needs and connecting them with appropriate community services (healthcare, childcare, food assistance, employment support, financial literacy, etc.)
- Support residents in crisis situations by coordinating referrals and follow-up support
- Promote housing stability and resident self-sufficiency
Program Development & Community Partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local service providers, nonprofits, and government agencies
- Plan and coordinate on-site services, workshops, and community events
- Track participation and outcomes for reporting purposes
- Promote resident engagement through outreach and communication
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate, confidential resident files in compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing, and company policies
- Prepare required reports and data for ownership, auditors, or funding agencies
- Collaborate with property management staff to ensure program alignment and compliance
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with Property Management and Maintenance teams to support resident needs
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
- Assist with grant reporting or program audits when applicable

- Compensation is highly competitive based on experience: $25.00 PER HOUR
