• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Front-End Engineers to comprehend problems and design effective solutions.
• Produce high-quality, well-structured, and easily understandable code for over 1M active daily users.
• Embrace agile methodologies to enhance productivity and team collaboration.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices, including post-mortems and architecture reviews.
• Collaborate daily with engineers in a cross-functional environment to write code and solve problems.
• Own the lifecycle of code, workflows, and data.
• Document all feature development for clarity and future reference.

Requirements

• Solid background in writing high-quality code in Scala, Java, Kotlin, or similar JVM languages.
• Experience in building scalable applications that handle tens of thousands of requests per second.
• Familiarity with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and NoSQL datastores like DynamoDB.
• Stream processing experience, particularly with Kafka.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to independently solve complex problems while knowing when to seek assistance.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on addressing real business challenges.
• Experience with iterative development techniques such as A/B testing.
