In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the effectiveness of sales compensation plans and their alignment with business objectives. You will design and implement compensation strategies to enhance performance and ensure compliance with governance policies. This position plays a critical part in optimizing compensation strategies through data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and reporting, ultimately driving success for the organization.Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain sales compensation plans that motivate performance and align with business objectives.
  • Translate high-level compensation frameworks into actionable quota files and compensation letters for sales teams.
  • Support annual and quarterly quota-setting processes.
  • Validate incentive calculations and oversee commission deliverables for timely and accurate payouts.
  • Analyze sales performance data to assess plan effectiveness.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership on attainment, payouts, and trends.
  • Ensure adherence to audit requirements and governance policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of plan rules, eligibility criteria, and payout structures.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure smooth execution of compensation processes.
  • Communicate plan details and provide training to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 46 years of experience in sales compensation planning or sales operations.
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and incentive management platforms (e.g., Xactly).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
