About This Position
The instructor assists students in meeting their academic and career goals by providing an engaging teaching and learning environment utilizing sound pedagogical teaching strategies based on approved syllabi. The instructor provides appropriate and effective instruction, stays current in the scholarship and practice of their discipline and teaching methodology, supports academic quality standards and demonstrates a commitment to student retention and success. The instructor is responsible for helping to create and maintain a student-centered learning environment based on a culture of student learning assessment at the course, program, and institutional level.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:? Instruct assigned courses in accordance with course competencies/objectives.
? Inform students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies.
? Coach, guide, mentor, monitor progress, and empower students to achieve optimum success.
? Provide students with academic support and advice, give referrals for additional assistance as required, tutor if necessary, and provide other assistance as needed and use technology for academic alerts and interventions.
? Teach classes based on assigned schedule and modality according to Campus faculty expectations and complete all related teaching administrative responsibilities such as attendance taking, final grade submission, etc.
? Support student retention and success with full participation in all Campus retention initiatives, fully utilizing all provided system tools.
? Demonstrate functional expertise in retention strategy solutions and social media excellence in all modalities, as appropriate.
? Manage classroom teaching conditions and environment through active instructor presence to promote a positive classroom environment.
? Conduct program/course curriculum assessment and evaluation duties assigned.
? Demonstrate evidence of professional growth and academic currency.
? Keep annual professional development plan updated per accreditation requirements and ensure that all faculty professional development and in-service professional development
is completed, and documentation provided to the program chair and Director of Education.
? Meet obligations for the on-campus, off-campus, and online time necessary to meet their professional responsibilities for classes, laboratories, office hours, meetings, and other assignments.

? Physical abilities:
? The job may require routinely standing, and occasionally stooping, bending, lifting/pushing up to 50 lb. or exerting heavy force.
? Moderate Risk: Work may involve moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions (such as working around moving parts or machines; exposure to irritants or chemicals). Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, gowns, goggles, gloves and/or shields.
Work Environment:
· Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people.

Requirements: Education and Experience Requirements:- CMA/RMA/NCPT/CPT or higher preferred
- 3 yrs + in the field with preferred teaching experience
- Vitals, Injections, Progress notes, Phlebotomy, body systems, terminology, and ECG knowledge. As well as office 365 like Word, Excel, and power point.
