Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Installer to support a full-service contracting operation specializing in heavy equipment, lifting systems, and customized mechanical solutions. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.Essential Functions:
- Install fluid power systems, electrical controls, heavy lift systems, and rail drive systems.
- Complete daily assignments following team briefings.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality output.
- Minimize downtime by maintaining readiness of tools, parts, and equipment.
- Accurately document all tasks in a clear and organized manner.
- Prioritize emergency repair requests as directed by management.
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain an orderly work environment.
- Participate in team-based projects to complete repairs and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel: Approximately 15%
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience with heavy equipment (e.g., cranes, trailers, tracked machinery).
- At least 5 years of experience in two or more additional technical areas (hydraulics, electronics, small engines, HVAC, etc.).
- High School Diploma/GED plus trade school, dealership, or factory technical training equivalent to an associates degree.
- Strong results-oriented mindset with the ability to convey urgency when needed.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, climbing, and carrying materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Technical training or certifications related to heavy equipment maintenance
- Additional certifications may be required based on job assignments.
