We are looking to add a Delivery Manager to our Engineering team in Vancouver, B.C. Reporting to the Team Lead-Delivery Management, the Delivery Managers primary purpose is to contribute to MineSense's Engineering functions and develop processes for efficient project execution. As a member of the Engineering Team, this role will manage projects from planning and designing to the completion stage contributing to the delivery of best-in-class solutions that improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact across the mining value chain. An ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter that is adaptable to varying paces and environments. Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and development of business processes to establish the Delivery Management Function.
  • Coordinates and delivers projects with functional leaders, ensuring product specifications and requirements are met
  • Ensure project delivery and provide oversight for project key performance indicators including schedule, budget, forecast, and project spending.
  • Remove roadblocks, plan for risk identification and mitigation, create timelines for all stages of development up to the release gate, and provide frequent management report-outs.
  • Lead implementation and training of new policies and engineering change priorities. Including ensuring issues are resolved to achieve business outcomes and improved alignment with the business objectives.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with the cross-functional internal team
  • Contributes to training teams by conveying policies, procedures, and priorities.
  • Additional duties as occasionally required by your manager.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelors degree in engineering, or a related technical/business field.
  • 4 -6 years of experience in a hardware and software Product Development environment
  • PMP designation is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Must be able to work with demanding deadlines and changing priorities.
  • The ability to effectively make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
  • The ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Health & Safety conscious individual.
  • Legally able to work in Canada.
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge and skills they bring to MineSense, market data based on their location as well as internal equity. Keeping this mind, the salary offered can be outside of the range posted.
