We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated People Ops Specialist, People Experience (PX) to join our growing People Operations team. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the employee journey at Capacity, from initial induction into the organization — including talent acquisition and recruitment as well as onboarding and orientation — up through ongoing development, support and exit management. This is all while leveraging technology to streamline processes and deliver an exceptional and positive employee experience within a dynamic, fast-paced, tech-driven environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in organized chaos and is passionate about creating seamless, engaging programs. You’ll also serve as a key operational and cultural partner, ensuring our people processes are efficient, inclusive and aligned with our company values. Responsibilities:
In this role you will will be responsible for the following:
Employee Lifecycle Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for team members throughout their entirety of their employment journey — from first day to retirement — ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences at every stageOwn and initiate lifecycle related programs, ensuring a smooth transition for team membersIdentify opportunities to streamline and automate processes across the PX lifecycle
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Partner with hiring managers to define roles, source candidates and streamline interview processes as well as communications to prospective new team membersAssist in organizing our applicant tracking system (ATS) within Rippling to maintain data accuracy while defining and tracking key recruitment and hiring metrics, improving our employer branding, and strengthening our talent pipelineConduct phone screens and join team interviews for respective roles as needed
Onboarding
Coordinate with IT, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure all logistics (equipment, access, training, etc.) are scheduled and/or completed in a timely mannerBuild upon and oversee an engaging, seamless onboarding experience that reflects company culture and values while also identifying areas of improvement to ensure successful introduction into the organizationContinue to iterate on current integration processes for new hires as well as new team members joining the company through merger and acquisitionConduct onboarding sessions as needed, including facilitating HR orientation
Culture & Engagement
Drive initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment, focusing on employee engagement, diversity and belongingAssist with engagement initiatives — such as employee satisfaction surveys and other recognition programs — while identifying, gathering and analyzing engagement data to drive change and recommend improvementsHelp plan and execute events, programs and recognition efforts that drive connection and retention
Offboarding & Exit Management
Lead a thoughtful and compliant offboarding process, ensuring that departing team members have a smooth experienceAdminister exit interviews and summarize feedback for leadership insightsHelp manage system access removal, final payroll coordination and asset retrieval workflows
People Ops Support & Process Improvements
Provide guidance to team members on HR-related matters, including policies and career developmentSupport employees with promotions, salary changes and job transfers, ensuring clear communication to all necessary stakeholdersPartner with your People Ops peers and leadership to identify opportunities that enhance and improve our operational efficiency as well as to create documentation around HR-specific processes while helping design scalable workflows and implement new technologiesUtilize our HRIS (Rippling) and other systems or tools to generate reports and insights in order to support decision-making and improve processes while also helping maintain data integrity, run reports and build automations
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in People Operations, HR or related PX roles, ideally within a tech or high-growth environmentStrong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and HR best practices, including understanding of employment labor laws and compliance regulations Experience using HRIS and ATS platforms (Rippling preferred) as well Google Suite and project/task management systems; comfort building automations to improve process efficiency is strongly preferredExcellent communication prowess with comfortability to manage sensitive HR concerns professionally and with utmost discretion Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to successfully meet deadlinesStrong problem-solver adept at anticipating next stepsAptitude to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teamsCommitted to providing excellent “customer service” to our team members
