Job Summary

The Director, Agent Recruitment is a strategic growth and acquisition marketing leader responsible for driving corporate-backed initiatives to expand our national network of life insurance agents.

In this role, you will provide front line support for agency owners by helping to optimize their recruitment strategies. You will be responsible for delivering strategic marketing campaigns that increase the top of the funnel with both licensed and unlicensed talent. Applicants must have at least 5 years of digital marketing. Direct experience in recruiting is a significant plus.

This role will interface with cross-functional leadership, distribution, and agency owners, so you must display operational excellence – the ability to push initiatives through and get things done quickly and effectively in a matrixed environment.

While this position is not a supervisory role, you will have the support of a marketing department that includes experts in design, video, social, and brand marketing to help you meet your objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns to attract individuals to join our national network of life insurance agents.
  • Develop strategies —including cold outreach, networking, and direct sourcing—to engage high-producing agents and sell them on our unique selling propositions.
  • Develop and distribute Recruitment Toolkits (email templates, social media assets, landing pages, and scripts) that independent agency owners can use in their recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain a strong connection with agents and agency owners to keep a pulse on what is and isn’t working in the field.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key recruitment metrics (Click-through rates, conversion rates, cpl).
  • A/B test campaigns and messaging to determine what resonates best with licensed vs. unlicensed candidates.

Qualifications

  • Expert (5+ years of experience) in digital marketing
  • Expert (3+ years) understanding of influencing perception and driving market behavior to hit KPI targets.
  • Highly data-driven marketer laser-focused on impacting KPIs.
  • Direct experience in recruitment / headhunting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and easily adaptable to a fast-moving pace of work
  • Must be adept at project management and exhibit operational excellence, able to execute on a slate of projects requiring cross-functional stakeholder support.
  • Must be a resourceful self-starter, capable of setting strategy and then executing on it, rather than needing direct instructions.
