About This Position
PreVeil — a category-leading, profitable cybersecurity SaaS company — is hiring a Director of New Market Development to help expand our proven platform beyond Defense into Healthcare, Legal, Tax, and Financial Services. Our encrypted email and file-sharing solution protects 2,200+ Defense contractors and has been recognized as PC Magazine’s Best Encrypted Email & File-Sharing Solution for five consecutive years.
We are seeking a Director of New Market Development to build PreVeil’s next growth engine by developing, validating, and scaling new lines of business outside Defense. This is a hands-on business-building role combining strategic thinking, customer discovery, experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration.Responsibilities: Assess and prioritize high-potential verticals through rapid market research and customer interviewsDesign and test go-to-market strategiesRun structured pilots and MVPs to validate messaging, pricing, and channel strategiesEngage early customers to refine messaging and workflowsPartner with Engineering and Product on compliance-driven feature evolutionWork with Marketing, Sales, and Channel Partners to operationalize and scale traction based on validated learningsThis role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a GTM or General Management leader inside a successful SaaS company — or who sees this experience as a stepping-stone to launching their own venture.
Ideal Candidate ProfileEducationBS/MS in a technical or quantitative field, or demonstrated technical fluencyMBA or equivalent business experience preferred
Experience2–5 years in consulting, strategy, GTM, or product-adjacent roles with a track record of building and scaling new markets or business linesExperience running experiments, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven decisions in uncertain environmentsExperience working closely with engineering or product teamsDemonstrated use of generative AI to drive efficiency in market research, customer discovery, or GTM initiativesExposure to regulated industries helpful but not required
