Cardiology NP/PA in Pinehurst, NC

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity:

• Based in Pinehurst, NC. Practice at the Reid Heart Center on FirstHealth’s flagship campus, Moore Regional Hospital. Outpatient clinic is nearby.
• Support a seasoned Electrophysiologist and NP with new patient appointments, surgical clearance, EP patient admissions, consults, rounding, discharges, device checks, and education.
• Hospital employment with the FirstHealth Physician Group, a physician-led, multi-specialty medical group of 400+ providers, including 6 general cardiologists, 2 interventionalists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 3 cardiothoracic surgeons.

Qualifications

• NP must be a graduate of a nurse practitioner education program and have national certification.
• PA must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
• Strongly prefer 2+ years of advanced practice experience in Cardiology.
• Experience in Electrophysiology is a plus but not required.
• Must be self-motivated and comfortable independently managing assigned patients in a busy practice environment with minimal oversight from the supervising physician.
• Clean background, NC license, NC DEA, and AHA ACLS required.
