Were looking for an Associate UI Designer to support UI execution across our enterprise applications. This early-career role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on UI work, interaction details, and working within a component-based system for complex enterprise workflows. Youll partner closely with a Senior UI/UX lead and collaborate with engineering to deliver consistent, accessible interfaces. What You'll Be Doing:
  • Translating workflows and requirements into UI under guidance from the Senior UI/UX lead.
  • Executing day-to-day UI design work using established components, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Contributing to maintaining and documenting the design system, including helping update the component library.
  • Defining interaction details such as states, validation, empty/error states, and focus/hover behavior.
  • Designing UI aligned with Angular Material patterns and component behavior.
  • Preparing design assets and notes to support efficient developer handoff.
  • Collaborating with engineers during implementation and support design QA.
  • Supporting responsive design and accessibility standards.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • BA or BS degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1-3 years of UI or digital product design experience.
  • Portfolio required; should demonstrate strong UI craft and explain design decisions.
  • Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and color theory.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong eye for pixel-level UI quality and able to produce clean, consistent designs that translate well to development.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design principles and component behavior.
  • Familiarity with accessibility fundamentals.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and interest in learning front-end concepts; experience with component-based frameworks is a plus.
  • Desire to build for the long term with scalable, flexible design systems.
  • Strong proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma preferred).
  • Clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers and cross-functional partners.
  • A growth mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • The following items are preferred but not required:
  • Exposure to enterprise or SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with Angular Material.
  • Experience contributing to a design system or component library.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools (e.g., Pendo, MixPanel, Amplitude).
