You will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, identify and cultivate key customers and fleets, and collaborate with dealer networks to expand market share. By analyzing the competitive landscape and providing guidance on product positioning, you will help shape the companys leadership in EV school bus technology. The position requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure offerings meet market needs and customer expectations. You will also serve as an industry expert, representing the company at events and providing thought leadership in EV adoption. - Develop and implement sales strategies to drive EV adoption and business growth within school districts and fleet contractors
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to inform sales and product strategies
- Lead or participate in product demonstrations, providing feedback on product improvements and market opportunities
- Train and support dealership sales teams to enhance their EV product expertise and customer engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, fleets, and industry partners to drive satisfaction and brand loyalty
- Identify and maximize funding mechanisms to support EV adoption, tracking performance against competitive metrics
- Represent the company at industry tradeshows, conferences, and presentations as the EV subject matter expert
- Bachelors degree in Business or a related field
- 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience, including 3+ years in the EV industry
- Strong understanding of EV technology, including batteries, power electronics, drivetrains, and thermal management
- Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure and ability to evaluate potential partnerships
- Experience managing long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into EV solutions and clearly articulate value propositions
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada; U.S. citizen or permanent resident required
