The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing, insurance eligibility verification, and prior authorization processes, with a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

• Accurately enter medical billing data related to eye care services into electronic and manual systems.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain prior authorizations as required.
• Submit clean claims to insurance companies and confirm timely processing.
• Handle dispute claims and follow up to resolve billing issues.
• Respond professionally to billing questions from patients and insurance providers.
• Perform electronic and manual posting of payments and adjustments.
• Assist in managing accounts receivable (AR) reports and support billing reconciliation.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and data handling.

• Experience with medical billing, preferably in an eye practice or ophthalmology setting.
• Knowledge of insurance eligibility verification and prior authorization procedures.
• Ability to identify and dispute incorrect or denied claims effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Proficient in electronic and manual posting of payments.
