Restoration Technician (Temp-to-Hire) at JOB SOURCE USA INC – Omaha, Nebraska

Position Summary

We are hiring Restoration Technicians at all experience levels — including candidates with no prior experience. You will work alongside a close-knit team performing water, fire, smoke, and mitigation restoration services in residential properties. Every day looks a little different, and when disaster strikes a family's home, your team is the one that brings order back to the chaos.

Job Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; on-call availability required

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor water extraction and drying equipment
• Remove damaged materials including drywall, carpet, insulation, and trim
• Perform fire and smoke cleaning using HEPA equipment
• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
• Document moisture readings and job site conditions
• Protect job sites and perform thorough cleanup
• Maintain company vehicles and tools
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with homeowners
• Load and unload equipment and keep job sites clean and safe

Everyone needs these:

• Strong work ethic and genuine dependability
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and work in physically demanding conditions including attics, basements, and tight spaces
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR
• Must be able to communicate in English

Even better if you have:

• Prior restoration, construction, or trades experience
• IICRC certifications
• Experience working in emergency or fast-response environments
