HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Welcome Center staff person is to demonstrate the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in providing service to the members and potential members entering the YMCA.

This position requires knowledge of English grammar, mathematics, simple office bookkeeping, learning the computer software for membership registrations, and operation of simple office equipment. This role will also be responsible for analyzing problems in a restricted functional area and for making decisions guided by precedent and established policy. Position requires normal attention and alertness with occasional concentration due to the nature of duties and flow of work. Human relation skills are critical in communicating with tact and persuasiveness to members and directors.
