Dates: May – August 2026
Hours: 6:00am – 3:30pm
Hourly: $16.00 - $20.00/HR

Position Summary:
The Engineering Intern will work with various Engineers in their departments to improve production, improve quality, and reduce costs while gaining hands on experience in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Assist in designing, testing, installing, and evaluating equipment for use in our manufacturing process.
2. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, Safety, and productivity.
3. Conduct time studies and analyze workflow to identify areas for improvement.
4. Assist in developing and maintaining process documentation and acceptance guidelines.
5. Assist in installation and setup of new equipment.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience:
1. Currently pursuing an Engineering degree and have completed your first year. Desired areas of focus: Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Supply Chain Management.
2. Must be at least 18 years old.
3. Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
6. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and error-proofing.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. 3D modeling experience desired (SolidWorks Preferred)
2. Familiarity with LEAN tools
3. A strong mechanical aptitude
