Footwear Specialist at Foot Care Center LLC – Billings, Montana

The Footwear Specialist works in conjunction with our team of podiatrists to fill footwear orders. They fabricate (or outsource to be fabricated) custom orthotics, diabetic shoes and inserts, pre-fabricated orthotics, and many other devices as directed by the doctors. They are responsible for footwear in all of our offices, and run the shoe store in our Billings, MT office.

Key Responsibilities

• Size patients for diabetic footwear
  
• Order diabetic shoes and related products
  
• Send and receive foot scans electronically
  
• Fabricate custom orthotics
  
• Grind and modify footwear devices as needed
  
• Dispense footwear products to patients
  
• Accurately track all activities using a work order spreadsheet
  
• Assist with general office duties, including:
  
  • Answering phones
    
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the workspace
    
  • Assisting with seasonal tasks such as snow removal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
• Availability to work 30–40 hours per week
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  
• Basic computer skills
  
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
  
• Willingness to learn — all necessary training will be provided

Compensation / Benefits:

• Competitive salary will depend on experience level.
• Benefit eligibility for FT employees working 30+ hours weekly begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
• Eligibility to participate in our 401(k) program begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
