We are currently seeking an experienced and mission-driven Psychiatrist to provide direct patient care in a secure, state-supported residential treatment setting serving adults with complex mental health needs.

Compensation & Assignment Details

• Pay Rate:
• Pay Schedule: Weekly pay with benefit options
• Shift Availability: Flexible scheduling
  • Monday - Friday (8hr shifts)
  • Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday (10hr shifts)
• Location: Lubbock, TX
• Assignment Length: 6-month minimum contract with option to extend

Essential Job Functions
The Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to adult patients in a residential treatment environment. This role involves working with individuals who may have co-occurring mental health and developmental conditions.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments

• Provide diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management

• Perform face-to-face patient evaluations

• Respond to emergency situations, including behavioral crises and restraints

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and attendance standards

• Perform duties consistent with facility-employed physicians

• Comply with facility standard operating procedures and Joint Commission Standards

Licensure, Certification & Registration Requirements

• Active Physician License in the State of Texas (in good standing)

• Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification

• Current credentialing with hospitals affiliated with the facility

• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association approved)
