| Position Summary: | The University of Dayton Campus Recreation Department seeks a self-motivated, enthusiastic and proactive professional who is responsible for the overall supervision, guidance and strategic vision of a comprehensive and diverse Sport Club program, consisting of 30+ recreational, instructional and competitive sport clubs with over 1,000 student athletes. This individual has responsibilities that encompass a wide variety of administrative, supervisory, programming, planning, developing, coordinating, assessment and oversight of all aspects of the sport club program. The ideal candidate for this position will be a visionary leader capable of transforming the current sport club model into a tiered model that elevates the profile of both competitive and high-functioning clubs. With an emphasis on education and leadership development, this individual is responsible for day-to-day operations and long-term objectives with the focus of leveraging the sport club experience as a driving force towards student recruitment and retention. The duties include, but are not limited to, advising student organizations, programming and calendar development, administration of contests and game management, implementation of policies and procedures including fiscal management, risk mitigation and promotion of programs. Vital to the sport club program will be developing high-impact experiential learning opportunities for students as part of a transformational UD education.
