Job Summary

Project Manager – MEP Design is Responsible for managing MEP design deliverables for multi-family residential projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with codes and client requirements. Acts as the liaison between design teams, consultants, and construction teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities Include: (But not limited to the following)

MEP Design Leadership

• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets for MEP design deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure timely approvals.

Team Management & Coordination

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to MEP design.
• Monitor progress and report status to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards through coordination.

Project & Client Collaboration

• Serve as point of contact for MEP design issues with clients and internal teams.
• Participate in project meetings, presentations, and design coordination sessions.

Quality Assurance & Standards

• Track and document QA/QC process execution to ensure high-quality MEP design deliverables.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and energy-efficient MEP solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• LEED accreditation and PMP certification required.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in project management experience, design oversight preferred.
• Proven experience in MEP multi-family or residential projects.
• Experience with design-build or integrated project delivery is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Advanced coordination knowledge in Revit MEP, AutoCAD.
• Basic familiarity with local building codes, energy codes, and applicable standards.
• Strong experience in construction coordination and clash resolution.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam for document control.

Soft Skills

• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
