About This Position

5:00a - 3:30p Monday through Thursday

Batch Tinter – produce small gel coat batches from 43-pound pails up to 6,000-pound tanks. Most of this job consists of just promoting and coloring the batches.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Be on time and ready to work.
  • Able to follow directions and written directions(such as a recipes)
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to wear goggles and/or particle dust masks hours at time.
  • Work well with others.
  • Learn to use machinery(hoists & lifts, blenders, tow motors)

Essential Duties

  • Accurately weigh all ingredients to prepare batches for QC and/or Fill-Out.
  • Operate & maintain all scales used for accurate measurements.
  • Operate & maintain all mixing utensils such as drum lifter, rack mixers, and table mixers, and 5hp, 10hp, 25hp dispersion mixers, etc.
  • Must be able to disassemble, clean and re-assemble rack mixer blades and attachments used for mixing and grinding batches.
  • Follow Batch Card instructions to ensure accuracy.
  • Employee will also serve on an as-need basis as a Mill operator if necessary.
  • Maintain safety and good housekeeping practices in all areas worked. (This includes mopping all responsible areas daily whether you worked there).
  • Maintain cleanliness of all associated equipment, including but not limited to, Floor Scales, Resin hoses, Filters, Drum Rack, Switches, etc.
