Level II Liquid Penetrant Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing

Shift: 2nd Shift — 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00, (DOE) + Shift Differential

We are seeking a Level II Liquid Penetrant Inspector to support our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations and ensure product integrity through accurate inspection, documentation, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and tear down liquid penetrant inspection equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, calibrations, and equipment upkeep.
- Conduct examinations using approved NDT liquid penetrant methods.
- Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in accordance with specifications and procedures.
- Direct and train Level I inspectors or assistants as required.
- Review applicable codes, standards, and contractual requirements prior to inspections.
- Complete accurate technical reports and maintain inspection records.
- Participate in corrective action processes, including non-conformance review, investigation, and reporting.
- Assist in root cause analysis and completion of corrective action requests (CARs).
- Promote safety, quality, and a positive image of Precision Aerospace.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Level II NDT Technician.
- Current Level II Liquid Penetrant Certification (copies required).
- Strong knowledge of applicable aerospace codes, standards, and specifications.
- Ability to perform inspections with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and inspection equipment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, reach, climb, and handle materials for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clear verbal communication and hearing ability required for coordination with staff, management, and customers.
