The Opportunity

You will serve as a premier field authority, taking command of complex mechanical installations across the New York City landscape. This role empowers you to solve high-stakes technical obstacles in real-time while mentoring a dedicated workforce of foremen and mechanics. You will be the driving force ensuring Northern Wolves Inc. maintains its reputation for elite craftsmanship and project velocity.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Direct all HVAC field installations across multiple active commercial sites to ensure peak production.

  • Identify and resolve complex installation conflicts involving space limitations and trade coordination.

  • Guide field crews through critical phases including ductwork, piping, equipment setting, and startup.

  • Verify that manpower, materials, and specialized tools are perfectly aligned before each project phase.

  • Enforce rigorous company standards for installation quality and field accountability.

  • Prevent schedule delays by anticipating logistical and technical issues before they impact the site.

  • Represent the company professionally in high-pressure meetings with general contractors and site supers.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of dedicated commercial HVAC installation experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years in a formal field leadership or supervisory role.

  • Expert-level ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings and specifications.

  • Proven technical mastery of VRF systems, WSHP, rooftop units, and hydronic piping.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage field labor distribution and push production without creating conflict.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to gain immediate respect from field mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Advanced expertise in equipment rigging coordination for large-scale urban installations.

  • Deep understanding of controls coordination and specialized mechanical room configurations.

  • Experience navigating the unique logistical challenges of New York City metropolitan job sites.
