Clements Fluids is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Buffalo, TX facility. This role is responsible for executing plant operations through defined processes, measurable performance standards, and consistent accountability. Success in this position requires strong deductive reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate operational data, identify root causes, and implement practical, repeatable solutions. The role requires consistency, ownership, and a commitment to operational efficiency, safety, and performance stability.
Currently, the plant operates Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM with after hours and weekends as needed. As the business grows, it could move to a 24/7 operation.
What You’ll DoAs the Plant Manager, you will oversee daily plant operations, manage personnel, optimize production processes, and ensure product quality—all while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. This role is critical to the success of our facility and requires someone who is not only experienced but also resilient, adaptable, and results-oriented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (following are accountabilities included but not limited to):

• Oversee daily plant operations to ensure production targets and timelines are consistently met.
• Manage raw material inventory and procurement to avoid shortages or excesses.
• Identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, waste, and downtime.
• Monitor and maintain equipment readiness, scheduling maintenance to minimize disruptions.3. Customer Service & Quality AssurancePartner with Sales and Logistics to deliver high-quality products on time, every time.
• Ensure plant outputs meet or exceed internal quality standards and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
• Track and act on customer feedback to continuously improve plant service levels.4. Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) StewardshipChampion and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enforce and model safety practices aligned with company and industry standards.
• Conduct ongoing safety training and daily risk assessments with the plant team.
• Maintain full compliance with HSE regulations at all levels.
• Lead incident responses, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans.5. Financial Management and ReportingDrive financial stewardship and plant profitability through disciplined cost and performance management.
• Develop and manage the plant’s operational budget, including spending and labor controls.
• Analyze production and financial data to make informed decisions.
• Identify and act on opportunities to reduce costs and improve plant efficiency.

Education, Training and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or any combination of education and experience totaling 5 years, with minimum of 3 years in a direct supervisory or management role.
- 5+ years of experience in plant operations, preferably in oil and gas or manufacturing, including people leadership
- Working knowledge of best practices for HSE, quality assurance and control, and DOT compliance.
- Experience in manufacturing and applying lean/six sigma production principles.
- Proficient using a computer with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Work Context
- Works outdoors in all weather conditions. Heavy lifting and some limited travel required.
