Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, seasonal Campground Supervisor to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the campground. In this role, you will help coordinate activities between the campground office, guest accommodations, and operational teams to ensure a high standard of service and an exceptional guest experience.
The Campground Supervisor plays an important role by supporting staff, maintaining organized operations, and helping ensure the campground remains clean, welcoming, and well maintained. This position works closely with the General Manager to oversee administrative processes, guest services, and campground facilities.
This is a live-on-site role ideal for someone who enjoys working in an outdoor hospitality environment and thrives in a dynamic setting that combines leadership, organization, and hands-on operational support.
Wage: $20 per hour
Staff Accommodation: available on site. Applicants applying with a friend or partner are encouraged to apply, as shared staff accommodation may be available.
Shifts: Full-time, seasonal (April to October) position including days, evenings, and weekends
Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Oversight
- Oversee daily campground office operations to ensure efficient and organized workflows
- Monitor guest bookings, reservations, and check-in/check-out processes
- Monitor and respond to campground email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate guest and reservation records using campground management systems
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams for communication and administrative tasks
- Ensure high customer service standards are maintained across all guest interactions
Camp Operations & Facilities Oversight
- Supervise the cleaning and preparation of tents and guest accommodations
- Ensure tents, facilities, and common areas meet established cleanliness and presentation standards
- Oversee onsite laundry operations and rental item management (linens, equipment, etc.)
- Assist the General Manager with monitoring inventory levels and ordering operational supplies
- Identify, document, and report maintenance issues to the appropriate team members
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of campsites, accommodations, and special events as required
- Participate in overnight phone and on-call duties as scheduled
Trading Post Supervision
- Oversee daily Trading Post operations and point-of-sale (POS) processes
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking merchandise
- Support retail operations to ensure an organized, well-stocked, and welcoming store environment
Staff Leadership
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to campground and office team members
- Assist with staff scheduling and daily task assignments, including coordination of cleaning teams
- Ensure campground policies, procedures, and safety standards are consistently followed
- Support the onboarding and training of seasonal staff members
Requirements
- Previous experience in Campground work is considered an asset.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Previous administrative, hospitality, or retail experience preferred
- Able to live in a remote location.
- Strong computer skills and comfort with technology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams.
- Negative criminal record check.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent problem solving skills.
