Description:

HTI is recruiting for a Maintenance Technician (1st Shift) to support a brand-new manufacturing facility in Hardeeville, SC. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production equipment running efficiently through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting new equipment installations, and helping optimize overall plant performance.

What You Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred)

  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience

  • Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

  • Experience working with motors, sensors, drives, and industrial equipment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure

  • Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Safety-focused mindset

What Your Role Will Look Like
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with PLCs, motors, sensors, and inverters

  • Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production line improvements

  • Conduct routine inspections to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime

  • Partner with engineering and production teams on process improvements

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

  • Support facility maintenance and expansion projects as needed

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

  • Assist with inventory tracking and maintaining spare parts levels

  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
