Install Delivery Associate at Kodiak Interiors Group – Bellingham, Washington

DeWaard & Bode, Whatcom, and Skagit county's largest, local appliance and mattress retailer are hiring! Our growing business is actively seeking new team members to join our Multi-Family Construction Installation Team. If you are a hardworking, reliable, and motivated individual, we want you.

This person is responsible for working with a team to deliver and install household appliances at contracted job sites in Washington.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Travels to contracted job sites in company vehicles and may be required to stay overnight in company-provided accommodations
• Deliver and install of household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, etc.
• Oversees work performed by outside contractors as necessary
• Completion of job paperwork and input of electronic tracking data.
• Responsible for cleaning workspace before departure of jobsite.
• Transfers, loads, and unloads merchandise between warehouses job site.
• Responsible for unloading and cleaning truck at the end of the work day.
• Performs other related warehouse duties as assigned or requested by management.

Wage Rate is $24-28. In this role, you'll have the opportunity for growth, and the ability to increase your compensation.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma preferred
Clean driving record
Must be willing to undergo a drug screening
Must be able to work a 40 hour work week, this job offers the potential for overtime
Proven work experience in a warehouse or construction setting
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklift, and other warehouse/construction tools and equipment.
Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs
