Location: Clinton, WI

Pay: $24-$28/hour

Millwright job description:

This position will support our elevators and agronomy locations in repairs, preventative maintenance, and new construction projects.

Essential Job Functions:

• Weld for repairs of existing structures/equipment
• Installation of new structures and Equipment
• Repairs of conveyance equipment (chain conveyors, belt conveyors, bucket elevators)
• Preventative Maintenance (greasing, checking tension, checking oil levels)
• Trouble shooting break downs
• Safety improvements
• Log work performed in online CMMS
• Work with OSHA and consultants on project management
• Resolve bottlenecks in production

Requirements

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

• 2 years of experience welding (stick and mig)
• Demonstrates the ability to be mechanically inclined
• Ability to install bearings, motors and gearboxes
• 2 years of experience with heavy machinery: i.e. skid loaders, telehandler, etc.
• Ability to read blue prints, tape measure, and other measuring devices
• Prior grain handling experience (preferred but not required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Trade School certificate
• If required, must be able to obtain DNSF, CSX, NCCCO and TWIC certifications

Other Job information:

• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time including overnight stays
• Ability to work extended hours, including some weekends
• All tools will be supplied
• Valid drivers license required and proof of insurance
• Ability to stand, bend and reach for 8 hours at a time
• Ability to climb up to 200'
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly
• Able to work outside year round in a sometimes dusty work environment
