Job Duties:
The Administrative Manager will oversee the business, administrative, and clerical operations of the Wellness Department while providing operational and programmatic support for Academic Enterprise wellness initiatives. This role supports the development, coordination, and delivery of health promotion programs and activities that foster a culture of well-being across the Academic Enterprise, while ensuring effective fiscal management, compliance, and day-to-day departmental operations.
Salary Range:
Actual salary commensurate with experience.
Work Schedule:
On-site, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.

Job Duties:
The Administrative Manager will oversee the business, administrative, and clerical operations of the Wellness Department while providing operational and programmatic support for Academic Enterprise wellness initiatives. This role supports the development, coordination, and delivery of health promotion programs and activities that foster a culture of well-being across the Academic Enterprise, while ensuring effective fiscal management, compliance, and day-to-day departmental operations.
- Provides administrative and operational support for wellness programs, initiatives, events, and activities across the Academic Enterprise.
- Coordinates logistics for wellness-related programs, workshops, trainings, and special events, including scheduling, communications, materials, and vendor support.
- Assists department leadership with tracking program activities, timelines, and deliverables; prepares reports and status updates as requested.
- Supports data collection, basic metrics tracking, and reporting related to wellness programs and departmental activities.
- Coordinates special projects and serves as a liaison with internal departments, committees, and external partners in support of wellness initiatives.
- Assists department leadership in goal setting, strategic planning, support activities, and implementation tracking.
- Supports communication efforts to promote awareness of wellness resources, programs, and events.
- Develops, integrates, and monitors administrative systems and processes to support departmental operations.
- Coordinates fiscal activities, including preparing and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with the approved budget and financial reports.
- Coordinates research grants and contracts preparation, as well as associated budget activities, as applicable.
- Identifies appropriate internal controls for the department and provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
- Assists in the recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of staff and support personnel.
- Performs related duties as required.
