Responsibilities:

• Participated in the daily fabrication of corrugated metal hose assemblies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process
• Performed TIG and orbital welding on hoses and end fittings to meet quality standards
• Executed assembly, trimming, testing, and finishing of hose products
• Set up production jobs, verified work orders (travelers), and ensured correct materials and components were used
• Interpreted engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to guide fabrication processes
• Measured and verified hose dimensions, including length, diameter, braid coverage, and fit-up using precision tools (tape measures, calipers, and gauges)
• Inspected welds, corrugations, and braiding to ensure compliance with quality and workmanship standards
• Troubleshot fabrication issues related to welding, forming, fit-up, and braiding processes
• Demonstrated leadership by upholding high standards for quality, safety, and workmanship
• Assigned daily tasks and provided hands-on support to team members to meet production schedules
• Trained operators and welders on proper fabrication methods and inspection techniques
• Collaborated with Quality teams on in-process inspections, pressure testing, and leak testing
• Maintained equipment readiness by performing minor adjustments and coordinating repairs
• Monitored scrap and rework, implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency
• Maintained a clean, organized, and safe work environment in alignment with 5S principles
• Served as acting Plant Manager in the absence of leadership

Required Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience in fabrication
• Proficiency with measuring and inspection tools, including:
• Tape measures
• Calipers
• Basic inspection gauges
• Working knowledge of TIG welding processes is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints, tolerances, and specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Ability to train and lead employees on the shop floor
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience/Certifications

• 3-5 years of Fabrication experience a plus
• Prior lead or working-supervisor experience preferred
• AWS welding certification a plus
• Familiarity with ISO 9001
