This role is a high-impact sales leadership position responsible for managing and growing a key national account within a fast-paced consumer products environment. The Senior National Account Manager will own the strategic direction, revenue performance, and profitability of assigned accounts while building deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders. This position combines hands-on account management with strategic planning, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership across sales, marketing, and operations teams. It requires a strong commercial mindset, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence at multiple organizational levels, including senior and executive stakeholders. The role also plays a key part in shaping promotional strategy, demand planning, and marketing investment decisions. It is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in managing complex accounts and driving sustainable growth.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end account strategy and execution while ensuring revenue growth, strong customer relationships, and alignment across internal teams. You will act as the primary owner of assigned national accounts and drive performance through planning, forecasting, and collaboration.
- Own full revenue accountability and deliver against sales, profitability, and growth targets for assigned accounts.
- Develop and manage strategic account plans, including assortment strategy, SKU optimization, and channel performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account stakeholders, including executive-level partners.
- Lead forecasting, demand planning, and seasonal planning in collaboration with internal teams.
- Oversee promotional strategy, MDF investment, and ROI evaluation to maximize account performance.
- Partner cross-functionally with marketing, finance, and operations to support execution and strategic initiatives.
- Manage contract discussions, program execution, and ongoing account governance activities.
This position requires strong national account management experience, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex retail relationships in a data-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- 6+ years of experience in sales, account management, or national accounts roles.
- Proven track record of managing revenue-generating accounts and delivering against financial targets.
- Experience working with large consumer product or retail accounts strongly preferred.
- Strong forecasting, planning, and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Base salary range: $110,000 – $140,000 USD plus variable incentive (target compensation includes base + performance bonus)
