About This Position
The CooperFit Program Manager oversees daily operations of the CooperFit testing center while promoting and selling fitness testing services to healthcare providers, corporate wellness programs, and community outreach initiatives. This role requires a blend of operations management, sales, and client support, along with a strong understanding of exercise physiology and Cooper Aerobics' cardiovascular fitness testing protocols.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or as needed to fulfill job responsibilities

The CooperFit Manager position is multidimensional requiring operations, logistics, communication, and manager acumen focusing on four key responsibilities.
- Provide ongoing management of daily operations of the CooperFit testing center on the Cooper Aerobics campus.
- Assist with promoting and selling CooperFit testing to health care providers, corporate wellness programs, community outreach programs, and other appropriate businesses in the DFW market area which will require a combination of program knowledge plus sales and marketing efforts to contact, present, and secure new business.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the CooperFit product developer regarding product revisions, and servicing needs.
- Assist with development of a scalable CooperFit business model(s).
- Provide training and ongoing support to CooperFit clients.
Management:
- Establish and evaluate performance to short-term and long-term business plans.
- Oversee quality control/quality assurance on all work performed.
- Build, maintain, and communicate CooperFit ongoing implementation plans and track the deliverables, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external clients and provide account management as appropriate.
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships.
Business Development:
- Work with Cooper leadership to establish test volumes and sales goals.
- Generate new business revenue by presenting and selling CooperFit to potential clients.
- Perform inbound/outbound sales calls and personal visits as appropriate, and follow-up.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are fully engaged and up to date with key business development activities and maintain an accurate and timely pipeline of activities.
Finance and Accounting:
- Assist with preparation of annual budgets.
- Perform monthly financial responsibilities (e.g., invoicing, AR/AP, etc.)
- Review of monthly financial reports.
IT and Technical:
- Ensure proper operation of the CooperFit platform.
- Serve as primary contact to third-party program developers and IT vendors.
- Source IT support and repair services.
- Review patient data and produce utilization and outcomes reports.
Customer Service:
- Serve as primary contact for clients related to CooperFit program and services.
- Maintain contact with clients before, during, and after services.
- Manage client service and escalation issues.
The ideal Group Exercise Director candidate should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health- or exercise science-related field.
