About This Position

Description:

Studio Gang is seeking an enthusiastic Marketing & Communications Intern to support our New York-based Marketing & Communications team. This internship will offer training and visibility into the diverse range of business development and promotional initiatives the Studio undertakes.

The Marketing & Communications Intern will have the opportunity to learn how to engage with media, what architectural awards programs and submissions entail, how to organize photo shoots and tours of projects, and how to support leadership for speaking engagements and external events. They will also learn how the work of architectural teams is translated into stories, data, and visual representations suitable for external use. The role is ideal for individual interested in working in the architectural field in a unique role that engages an interest in storytelling, graphic design, and writing.

Candidates for this role must be actively pursuing a professional degree in Marketing and Communications, Architectural Studies, or a similar field, and be enrolled through Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing speaking engagement summaries for review
  • Preparing Go/No-Go materials for Studio Partners by researching clients and producing new project summaries
  • Updating marketing diagrams, data records, and press kits
  • Producing brochures and portfolios that clearly communicate the Studio’s values and differentiators
  • Researching architectural awards programs
  • Monitoring external bid portals for proposal opportunities
  • Monitoring the press inbox and preparing summaries of press inquiries
  • Supporting Digital Communications Manager with the production of website and social media content
  • Supporting the coordination of tours and photography
  • Supporting transition to and maintenance of marketing collateral and data in systems such as OpenAsset, Deltek, and ConstantContact
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university
  • Strong organizational and management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required
  • Candidates with proficiency in French strongly encouraged to apply
