About This Position

We are looking to hire a Project Workforce Coordinator, for our Major Projects department. The location of this role is flexible.
This role manages workforce planning and deployment to support field operations. Serving as a central liaison between field teams, management, People & Culture, and employees. The incumbent distributes the assignment, preparation, and availability of workforce as required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to accurately interpret schedules and workforce requirements are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive and process workforce requests from field teams and operational leaders.
- Coordinate the type, qualifications, quality, and duration of personnel required to meet operational needs.
- Review, interpret, and manage schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for personnel, including transportation and lodging as required.
- Manage new hire coordination, including onboarding logistics, scheduling, and assignment details.
- Serve as a primary point of contact between management, People & Culture and the workforce.
- Communicate assignment details, schedule changes, and expectations clearly to workers.
- Track workforce availability, assignments, and deployment status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor requirements, and scheduling guidelines.
- Identify and proactively address staffing gaps or conflicts.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and manage complex schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience coordinating logistics such as staffing, travel, or onboarding.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with scheduling systems, spreadsheets, or workforce management tools.
- Related University degree, post-secondary certificate, college diploma, and/or trade certification and typically 3 or more years of related experience; or combination of formal education and experience.
