We are currently looking for an Application Architect - AWS Cloud in United States.This role focuses on designing and implementing modern cloud-native solutions that accelerate application modernization and support scalable, secure AWS-based architectures. You will lead initiatives to refactor legacy systems, develop reusable services, and integrate event-driven and CI/CD pipelines to enhance operational efficiency. The position requires strong technical expertise across multiple programming languages, cloud platforms, and messaging technologies, combined with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You will influence architecture decisions, support deployment strategies, and contribute to the adoption of best practices for cloud development. Success in this role is measured by the ability to deliver reliable, maintainable, and innovative solutions that meet business requirements and enable long-term scalability.Accountabilities:

• Translate IT requirements into scalable, modern cloud-based solutions
• Lead legacy system analysis, refactoring, and modernization efforts
• Design reusable services, APIs, and integrations for cloud environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and operational deployment frameworks
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver solutions aligned with business and technical goals
• Ensure adherence to cloud architecture best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements
• Mentor team members and foster knowledge sharing in AWS and modern application design

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 58 years of experience in software development with Python and Java
• Strong experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, S3, and ElasticCache
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application design
• Experience with web UI development using React and event-driven/streaming technologies (Kafka, MQ)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse technical teams
• Nice-to-have: experience with Palantir platforms
