- Act as the CEOs right hand, providing strategic counsel and operational leadership while representing executive leadership in key operational matters.
- Translate company strategy into clear operational plans, driving execution across departments and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, implementing scalable processes, systems, and best practices to improve efficiency and performance.
- Establish, monitor, and optimize KPIs to track operational health, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-informed decisions.
- Lead cost optimization initiatives, including budget ownership, expense analysis, vendor negotiations, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Oversee cross-functional strategic projects, defining governance, timelines, milestones, and success metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Partner closely with product and engineering teams to align roadmaps with business strategy, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support strategic growth initiatives, partnerships, compliance requirements, and represent the organization externally when required.
- 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven track record of scaling operations within high-growth technology or SaaS environments.
- Strong expertise in financial management, cost optimization, and budget ownership with measurable impact.
- Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving organizational change.
- Deep understanding of product development processes and technology roadmap management.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce, payments, or fintech sectors, with strong technical acumen.
- Demonstrated success working with remote or distributed teams and supporting a CEO or founder in an executive capacity.
