Key Responsibilities of the Position
Compiles and maintains material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas.
Key Deliverables of the Position
· Receive manufactured and purchased components into stockroom inventory.
· Stock components and manage default locations
· Process all scrap and non-conforming material transactions
· Pull components for manufacturing orders for turbocharger product line to support assembly operation
· Fill in for piece part packaging when necessary
· Monthly audits for proper storage of elastomer products and preservation of parts to prevent corrosion
Requirements:Required Education and Experience
High school diploma of general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Technical Competencies
· Ability to solve practical problems
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
· Ability to receive and maintain Forklift certification
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Physical Demands
Frequent walking and standing, occasionally sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel and crouch. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
