Operating Room EVS Supervisorat Marsden South

Shift: Monday to Saturdayand some weekends as needed. Hours: 7:00 pm to 3:30 am.

Full-time, 40 hours a week.

Hourly Rate: $17.50

Location:Dallas, TX 75231

Requirements:

• You must be 18 years old
• You must have work authorization
• You must be flexible and have reliable transportation
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• You must have 2 years of experience in EVS/Operation Roon
• Prior experience in environmental services, preferably in a healthcare setting. Additional certifications in environmental services or healthcare preferred
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, infection control standards, and safety regulations
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed

Job Duties:

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, youll be:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of environmental services staff
• Ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained according to established standards and protocols
• Monitor staff performance and provide training, coaching, and support as needed
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order as needed
• Enforce infection prevention and safety policies, including proper use of PPE
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs, including spills and isolation areas
• Prepare reports and documentation related to staffing, inspections, and compliance
• Responsibilities include detailed cleaning and disinfecting of operating rooms, exam rooms, and common areas. Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and bathroom cleaning are also required.
